CLA Radio 12/29/17: Rick Danko

What:  In honor of the anniversary of Rick Danko‘s birth, a stroll through mostly material by The Band, with an emphasis on stuff that Rick sang primary vocal on. (Although Levon figures heavily vocally in a few, not surprisingly.)

Rick wasn’t the most technically proficient bassist you’ll ever hear, but he was a giant as far as I’m concerned. A huge influence on my playing, although he bears no blame for me having been a pedestrian bassist.
