CLA Radio 01/13/17: Warner/Reprise Loss Leaders

What:  A show about the best series of record company samplers ever: Warner/Reprise Loss Leaders.

A major assist for the show content came from Inside the Warner/Reprise Loss Leaders, which gives the album breakdowns, and a bit of background here and there.

Links below (to the sampler titles) will let you see what else was on the particular sampler. Of note: Dr. Demento had a hand in some of them.

It was a very fine series. I owned several of them. This short show cannot do the series justice, but can only hint at all the great music contained therein.

When: Friday, January 13, 2017, 6:00 PM Pacific/9:00 PM Eastern.

Where: Duane FM in the Hughniverse.

Spotify playlist: Here, which excludes the show intro and a ‘couple tasty radio ads for the Loss Leader series.
