Your Daily Flaming Dumbass: The Demagogue-In-Chief

[The following is something of a variation of and building-on a discussion by Dennis Prager this afternoon.]

“We want to work with Arizona. I understand the frustration of people in Arizona. But what we can’t do is demagogue the issue,” Obama said in an interview with CBS, according to excerpts released by the network.

“And what we can’t do is allow a patchwork of 50 different states, or cities or localities, where anybody who wants to make a name for themselves suddenly says, ‘I’m going to be anti-immigrant and I’m going try to see if I can solve the problem ourself.’ This is a national problem,” Obama said.

Oh my goodness! Well gee, let’s put our hip waders on and parse that, shall we?

Lie #1: “We want to work with Arizona.”

Really? Is that a fact!

Two-thirds of voters support building a fence along the U.S.-Mexico border, according to a new Rasmussen poll.

Sixty-eight percent of probable voters want the U.S. to continue building the fence that was halted in March when the Obama administration cut funding. Support has jumped 9 percent since that decision.

Lie #2: “I understand the frustration of people in Arizona.”

Uh huh.

Lie #3: “But what we can’t do is demagogue the issue.”

Most of the demagoguery I see on the issue comes from your side, jackwagon.

Lie #4: “And what we can’t do is allow a patchwork of 50 different states, or cities or localities….”

Except if it pertains to Leftist sanctuary city policies, right?

Lie #5: “…where anybody who wants to make a name for themselves suddenly says…”

Whoa, there, Narcissus! Is that what it is, political grandstanding? I thought you said (in lie #1) that you understood Arizonans’ frustration?

Lie #6: “‘…I’m going to be anti-immigrant…”

Anti-illegal immigration, not anti-immigrant. Glad you’re taking the high road and avoiding demogogary.

Lie #7: “…and I’m going try to see if I can solve the problem ourself [sic].'”

The Arizona law in large part mirrors the Federal laws that the current Administration, along with others in the past, have chosen to ignore.

Lie #8: “This is a national problem.”

The lie there is the inference that by acknowledging that it is a national problem, you have any intention to do anything about it other than ram down an amnesty.

And so it continues–the waggling finger and the verbal sleight of hand; the code words and bullying; the arrogance and deceit; the vacuousness and the arrogance…the sheer moral and ideological emptiness.

This is the Left. Pay attention, America, and pass on this information to future generations so we don’t have to get this far out on the ledge, ever again.

And I hope that from now on, whenever I hear Obama’s voice, it is like the voice of adults in the old Peanuts cartoons: trombones.
