“Walker survives…close vote.”
It was a 7% gap.
I looked up Obama v McCain: 7.2% (popular vote).
Then I dug up some old quotes from that year:
Time: “When historians look back at the 2008 presidential landslide, they won’t focus on the fact that Barack Obama…”
Washington Post: “Wherever you look, it would seem, the world is celebrating Barack Obama’s landslide win in Tuesday’s US presidential election.”
Washington Monthly: “Apparently, an Obama landslide wasn’t quite enough.”
Media Matters: “The American people responded by electing him in a landslide.”
On and on and on….
Whatever. This is what the Left does.
