Being On the Left Is Never Having To Say You’re Sorry

Housing projects turn into crime-ridden cesspools that need to be torn down after a decade or two?

We need more housing programs!

Wink-and-a-nod illegal immigration destroys black contractors in the drywall trade in Los Angeles, eviscerates what was left of the work ethic in teenagers, and costs us billions in taxpayer-funded giveaways?

We need to march in solidarity with our brothers and sisters seeking to take back their El Norte!

Up to our keister to the Chinese, who are bunkering down, buying up critical raw materials, and port access, and all kinds of inroads with their non-OSHA-compliant near slave labor?

Quote Mao as an inspirational poet!

See a pattern? If you don’t, I need to get out a sewing machine and make a quilt.

These are children.

Yes, conservatism is common sense. But it is the common sense of experience and history–and paying attention to both as if they meant more than faux compassion.

End of rant. Thanks for listening.
